Hi everyone,
I’m working with a Korg PA1000 and a large SET merged from multiple sets. I’ve hit the User Sound / Drum Kit slot limits (not styles, not keyboard sets).
I’m currently on PA Manager v4.1, which only shows an inventory list.
Before upgrading, I want to clarify something based on PA Manager’s own website.
On the official PA Manager Tips & Tricks page, there are features listed called:
• “Search for Unused Sounds”
• “Where is a Sound used” (showing which styles / STS / pads reference a sound)
My questions for people who are actually using PA Manager v5:
1. In v5, does “Search for Unused Sounds” reliably generate a list of unused user sounds (not samples)?
2. In v5, can you right-click a sound and clearly see where it is used (styles / keyboard sets / pads)?
3. For Drum Kits (not samples): is there any equivalent unused-detection, or is the correct workflow still manual reassignment/testing?
Does Korg PA Manager automatically delete used SOUNDS and DKs

Hi,
1. Yes. V5 can search the whole SET and check where/if a USER Sound (not samples) is being used and create a report out of this.
2. Yes. Same applies as Q1.
3. Not necessarily. You cannot identify on a sample per sample basis whether is being used anywhere.
