Merge samplers.

Post by ibaradu »

Hello, is it possible for the next version of korg pa manager to implement a function to merge samplers that are duplicated?

Hi,

It is very rare that you would get duplicated Samples in the first place, but even if you do, we have a feature that would create a REPORT of duplicated Samples with the Sample Manager, that can help you identify these samples and MANUALLY remove them if you like.

Hi, i would be in favour of the same request. Sometimes merging sets results in having several user sounds as duplicates .
i am actually facing the same painful challenge (and yes we are talking about almost 300+ possible duplicates
1.Possibility: identical user sound but named differently
2. Possibility: we have the same name but different Sounds
I guess most of us would love to have for
the first case: automatically merge and remap all styles/PADs/KBD Sets...via a menu/button etc..
for the 2nd. case: create a report and we can chose manually one by one what to do.(maybe keep both or remap or delete etc...)
Why automatically for the 1st case?
Because simply having to globally Re-Map those with only 4 at once will take a very very long time.(the picking of original and target sound, waiting for the remap to end, searching unsused sounds again and deleting them... gets frustrating by time, especially when mistakenly deleting the wrong sound.
So i would vote for this feature as very useful and needed :-)
Thank you in advance

Hi,

There already is an option to check for Duplicates in the Menu.
Take a look here:
