Hi,

I have migrated my SET from Pa4x to Pa5x, have updated Pa5x to latest firmware.

On my Pa4x I had a style that when selected starts with Intro1 and then goes to Variation3, then for the second song I used the same style that when selected it starts with Break and went to Variation1... and so on... most of my styles had saved custom fill mode and variation that starts in. It plays well and transitions sound good that way for me.

Pa manager did not migrate this, all styles seem to play on the same selected fill mode. If I'm on Intro1 and change style it starts in Intro1. For example I play some hard rock on Variation4 and change it to a song that is ballad it starts in Variation4 and I need to press Variation1 to calm it down in order to play that ballad...

Maybe I just did not check/uncheck something or what to do?

Can you please check your Lock settings from the GLOBAL page?

I have tried to change lock settings in GENERAL CONTROLS menu, but it does not seem to do anything, when I save the style it always starts from variation or fill/intro/break that is currently selected it does not save my setting (locked or unlocked), therefore it did not migrate any of my fill settings from PA4x styles or maybe Pa5x bug?

I did find a solution that works, and that is if I save the settings i want manualy in SongBook, then it works as it should, I press one song that should start with break and go to variation 1, then same style different song when I press it starts with fill 3 and goes to variation 4 on start.

On my Pa4x I did save all my styles with my own perference how should the style start. When playing live It's neccesery for me when i select the style that it transitions or starts with break/fill or intro it is wierd when playing variation 4 that is most loudest and go to a different style that it stays on variation 4 for the begining of a song, every style should start as you save it.

Should this work on Pa5x?

The PA4X offered a Menu to assign Initial Style Variation to begin with, but I think we are still missing this on the PA5X OS.
