It captures even the sounds that are not used in a rhythm or pad.

While creating a new KST in the software, I transferred only one rhythm, but the software also included sounds that are not part of the rhythm. I have attached both the rhythm’s sound report and the report of the imported sounds.

Hi,

There are 2 unknown sounds, which could be that they are used as part of the KBDSETs or PADs ? The PADs show 2 sounds as LOCKED instead of their name.

cok yayli strson | DERDIYOK-si

You can do the reverse by Right click and Search where this sound is used, to see where they are used.

But to fully understand what is going on, perhaps it would be best that you send us that SET (either here or privately via email) to really understand where these sounds are from.

The pads that appear as locked are actually linked to user DK drumkits. The sounds 'cok yayli strson' and 'derdiyok-si' are not used. However, when I search where the sound 'cok yayli strson' is used, it shows as being used inside the rhythm I tried to transfer, even though it is not actually part of that rhythm. I have added a copy of the set without the samples so you can check and verify.

Thank you for sending over the SET.

The Sound 'cok yayli strson' is indeed used by one of the PADs (PAD1: Vahde Genel).
If you COPY the Style, then click on ADVANCED and check the PAD section. Right click on (PAD1: Vahde Genel) and choose Save as PAD.
You will see that the PAD has the sound assigned.

The same goes with PAD2: Sek. If you extract and save that as a PAD, you will see that it has the sound DERDIYOK-si assignegd.

I did what you suggested and yes, I saw the issue as you described. However, there is one point I do not understand: is the pad now embedded into the rhythm? I thought it only referenced the pad section. I have attached screenshots of both the pad linked to the rhythm I wanted to transfer and the pad I saved as 'Save As Pad'. I would appreciate it if you could clarify this matter for me.

Hi,

With the PA5X, the PADs are now embedded inside the Style, just like a KBDSET. They have no reference to the PAD section or separate PAD files.

Thank you for your response. As far as I understand, at the moment there is no function in the software to edit a pad that is embedded into the rhythm. We can only edit it after saving it as a pad. However, the pad that is embedded within the rhythm is still considered as not edited.
