Hi,

As the whole .SET structure has changed to .KST, that means we need to implement a whole new system, which take a few more months.

Yes. We just need to await for the new 5x OS Update to make sure everything works correctly.

It might take a while for the Korg to come out with any updates soon as we all know. Can you guys just roll out the version with PA5X as we all need to update our sets now from PA3, 4X material to PA5x.

And if I might add, the updates they have listed to add sometime in May / June are really not big changes.

Thanks.

Well, think of this scenario.
We roll the new release and after some time the new 5X OS is released, but now many things have changed and nothing works with PA Manager.
Then all users will start complaining that KPM isn't working and is not compatible with the new 5X OS.

So it's better to play safe. Do our tests and make sure everything is compatible, to avoid future problems and customer dissatisfaction.

Then again, if the OS is somewhat really delayed, then we might end up releasing as we see fit.

No. That is generally provided as a separate App by KORG.

I have the Korg Pa1000 with the Musikant Add-on. I copied the local to the user banks.
On PaManager looking at the sounds, many keyboardsets/sounds came from the local banks, but had no sound. So I selected the same sound on the copied user bank and it seemed it loaded it and showed it as US which was highlighted in yellow.
When I converted the set on my pa5x, these sounds were missing.

Hi,

Just to clarify the scenario.

You changed and assigned somw new USER Sounds for some KBD SETs. Then saved the SET via Pa Manager and converted it to a .KST?

And now there are no User Sounds assigned to the KBD SETs ?
In that case, what sounds are assigned?
