.xml File Generator

Post by AL-Tameemi »

To Studio Users and Style Creators Working with DAWs:

One feature that could make a significant impact is the ability to generate a .xml file that can be imported into a DAW like Cubase. This would allow users to easily select programmed User Sounds—created using Pa Manager—directly from within the DAW. It’s a game-changing addition that hasn’t been seen before, and Pa Manager could be the first to offer such a powerful and practical feature.

Imagine having access to a full sound patch file that includes both original Pa5X sounds and User Sound banks (including Oriental editions where applicable), all seamlessly integrated into your production workflow.

Since Pa Manager already has the capability to generate detailed sound list reports, we believe the talented team behind it is more than capable of delivering this highly requested feature. It would be an incredible tool for anyone creating styles or songs in a studio environment—and undoubtedly a strong selling point for Pa Manager itself.

Wishing you continued success. Your work is genuinely appreciated by all of us who rely on this excellent product!

Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed suggestion!

We agree—it could indeed be a great idea to allow exporting an .xml file that integrates with external DAWs like Cubase for easier access to User Sounds programmed within PA Manager. It would certainly streamline the workflow for studio users and style creators.

However, since we don’t work extensively with DAWs ourselves, we would first need to investigate how their XML systems function and understand the specific format and structure required to implement such a feature properly.

This is definitely something we will consider for the future.
